What is CNAME delegation? Am I handing over my domain?
No. CNAME delegation simply adds one DNS record pointing to our validation service. You remain in full control of your domain. We only get the ability to prove domain ownership to the CA on your behalf — nothing more.
Is my private key safe?
Absolutely. Your private key is generated locally in your browser. Our servers never see your plaintext key. The relevant code is fully open source — audit it anytime.
Does it support multi-cloud? Alibaba Cloud, Cloudflare, etc.?

Is the student plan really free forever?
Yes. With a valid .edu email, the Campus plan (full Pro features) is free for you, permanently. We were student developers once. This is our commitment.
What if my certificate expires somehow?
That's extremely unlikely with NextSSL — we auto-renew 30 days before expiry and send email alerts. In the rare case of an anomaly, we'll notify you immediately and help diagnose the issue.
